Fame + Free speech + Stupidity = Danny Glover

Examples of why Ultra-liberal elite Hollywood should stick to pretending they are someone else...

Venezuela giving Danny Glover $18m to direct film on epic slave revolt -

That is quite a payoff for your support of his dictatorship! Danny...are you a dangerous America hating, self serving left-wing radical... or just a stupid actor, being used by a dangerous dictator to help spread propaganda to star struck fame worshiping Americans?? just something to think about...

Chavez election?
The referendum results were questioned by some sources in the United States. A Penn, Schoen & Berland Associates (PSB) exit poll predicted that Chávez would lose by 20%, but the election results showed him to have won by 20%. Schoen commented, "I think it was a massive fraud".[15] US News and World Report offered an analysis of the polls, indicating "very good reason to believe that the (Penn Schoen) exit poll had the result right, and that Chávez's election officials - and Carter and the American media - got it wrong".[15] The Associated Press says that PSB used Súmate volunteers for fieldwork, and its results contradicted five other opposition exit polls. Publication or broadcast of exit polls was banned during the vote by electoral authorities, but results of the PSB poll went out to media outlets and opposition offices several hours before polls closed

Crime rate under Chavez - Has nearly tripled!
Since Chávez took office, The Economist reports that the murder rate has almost tripled, and that Venezuela's capital – Caracas – has become South America's most violent, with police implicated in some of the crimes.[74][39] The United Nations reported in 2005 that Venezuela had the highest number of deaths by gunfire per capita in the world,[98] garnering for Venezuela a claim to the title of the world's most violent crime capital.[92] Critics claim that Chávez's policies are largely responsible for these declines.[37][92] The U.S. State Department says there is a "politicization of the judiciary, the electoral authorities, and the legal system" and a "reported 13% increase in politically motivated detentions".[4]

Corruption, militarism, communism... hopefully Chavez will keep Glover there...

Political Pig - Carl Levin

Time to call Carl Levin (D - Michigan) out! He of course voted against a moritorium on earmarks this year and is CAGW's September Porker of the Month .

Ranking -11th in earmark requests in 2008, requesting money for 255 projects totaling $301,400,000 in your tax dollars!!!

While president Bush issued and executive order in January of 2008 instructing government agencies not to fund earmarks contained in report language... Levin has tried to bypass this order and give earmarks the force of law! please read the full report at the CAGW Website. Citizens Against Government Waste is a fantastic site and non-partisan group - please give them your support to continue to hold our representatives accountable!
